Lloyd Naff Edwards 84, Hillsborough died Wednesday October 5, 2011. Mr. Edwards a native of Southampton County Virginia was the son of the late Claude and Eunice Grizzard Edwards, he was also preceded in death by his wife Carrie Edwards.
William Thurston “Pete” Webb of Efland formerly of Weldon died Saturday at the VA Hospital in Durham.
Ernestine Smith Stephenson, 83, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Halifax Regional Medical Center. She was a life-long member of Rosemary Baptist Church. She was retired from the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District as a teacher’s assistant and is fondly remembered by many former students.
Susie Jeanette Glasgow Bounds, 80, of Halifax passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 7, 1931 in Halifax County and lived there until her death.
