Juanita Harrison Lambert, age 86, was called home by the Lord on December 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Her life was a beautiful testimony of love, faith, and strength.

She was born on August 6, 1939 in Roanoke Rapids to the late William "Bud" Warrick Harrison and Louise Elizabeth (Liverman) Harrison.

A devoted mother, Juanita poured her heart into her children, loving them fiercely and faithfully. Her hands were rarely still, always sewing, mending, and creating acts of service that reflected the care she carried in her heart. Each stitch was a reminder of her patience, devotion, and desire to provide. Her love showed in countless ways through steady support, thoughtful advice, and the care she gave so freely to her family. Her strong work ethic was rooted in faith. She believed in honest labor, perseverance, and doing things the right way. She lived by example, teaching her children the values of responsibility, humility, and trust in the Lord. Juanita loved history and could spend hours talking about the past, sharing stories and facts while reflecting on God's hand through time and the lessons woven into each generation. Her conversations were thoughtful, wise, and full of perspective. She will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the quiet love she gave so consistently. Her legacy lives on in her children and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Harris and wife, Heather and Jeff Harris and wife, Pamela; her grandchildren, Emily Richard (Andrew), Hannah Murphy (Alex), and Cameron Harris; and her great-granddaughters, Piper Richard, Penelope Richard, and Josie Scoggins. She is also survived by her sister, Martha "Puddin" Patrick; her brother, Mack Harrison; her brother-in-law, Steven Madison; and her loyal dog, Hezekiah and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lambert; her sister, Brenda Madison; her brother, William "Billy" Warrick Harrison; and her granddaughter, Scarlett Harris.

The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to her nieces, Stephanie Taylor and Stacey Patrick for their love and care for Juanita over the past few years.
