Marc’s dash was March 6, 1970 to April 18, 2026. During that time, he was a loving husband, father, and PaPa; his presence will be missed terribly. He was an extremely generous person to many; he never could say no to helping and lending a hand, tool or equipment to anyone. He spent many years farming alongside his father, then training and working with his son and many friends. He loved nothing more than to be in a tractor from sun up to sun down producing a crop. Marc loved working on his diesel trucks and making 1200 HP. All of his tractors and combines were the fastest in the Darlington area. Many evenings you could find him socializing with fellow farmers about what they were planting, cultivating, and which chemicals they were spraying.

A visitation to honor the life of Marc will be held at Darlington Baptist Church on April 23, 2026 at 12:30 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Justin Carp officiating. He will be laid to rest at Warren Cemetery. Jeans and t-shirt attire are welcome.

Flowers may be received at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids. Family and friends are welcome at 4237 Hedgepeth Road, Littleton, NC, 27850.

Marc would say to you in this time of sorrow, “Don’t cry, because I am still here with you. Let the world remember me by living life with love and joy the way I did. I loved them all.” Marc.
