Grady Cashwell Robertson, Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, 83, of Weldon, NC, went to be with his Lord on August 18, 2019.
He was born on July 23, 1936, to the late O.C. (Bo) Robertson and Mamie Harp Robertson.
Grady was a general contractor with A Custom Woodworking Shop. He was with Weldon Fire Department for over 35 years, was a member of the former Train Museum, a lifetime resident of Weldon, NC, which he loved and supported in any way he could and was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline Robinson Robertson; children, Debra Hester and her husband Jack of Gaston, NC; Brian Duhadaway and his wife Cathy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Michael Duhadaway, Sr. of Roanoke Rapids, Teresa Carsey and husband Barry of Newton, NC; Grandchildren, April Conner, Aubrey Yount, Eliza Harrell, Emma Collins, Anthony and Noah Duhadaway, Coreylee Carsey, Christina Bowen, Meleanie Conner, Jacob Edenbeck; great grandchildren, Joanne and Eli Duhadaway, Mason and Davis Harrell, Adelynn, Seamus and Rowland Collins, Abrial, Jey, Josiah and Alisity Yount, Ruby, Autumn, Jessie, and Jase Bowen, and several nieces and nephews and a special son, David Magana and his family.
Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church in Halifax on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2pm. with Rev. Mitchell Norville officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services of Roanoke Rapids, NC from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
