George Danny Seuis, 51, of Roanoke Rapids died Saturday, January 14, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Halifax County on January 14, 1972. He was the owner-operator of Danny’s lawn care for 36 years, a business he started at age 15. He loved cleaning his truck, on a daily basis.

 Danny is survived by his wife, Catherine Seuis; his parents, George and Cordelia Seuis of Roanoke Rapids; his three sisters, Christy S. Plyler and her husband, Brad, Amy S. James and her husband, Jimmy and Mandy S. Bailey all of Roanoke Rapids;

nieces, Brittney Hargrave, Brooke Stevenson, Lizzie Wilmouth, Exie Pair and Julie James; two great nieces and one great nephew; several uncles, aunts and cousins; special friend Jay Winstead.

 A funeral service was held in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday January 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Chris Parker officiating.

Interment followed at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
