Kenneth Thomas “Tommy” White Sr. went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2024.
He was born June 2, 1941 to Ken and Emily White of Louisburg, N.C.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie, his sons, Ken and Jeff (Amanda), along with his grandchildren Thomas, Jeffrey, Jackson, Emily, and Caroline White. He is also survived by his sister, Sara Nelms and nieces Elizabeth Hawes and Susan Cafasso.

He attended Campbell College, served in the National Guard, and then worked for Commercial Credit for 38 years. He spent many special years in Roanoke Rapids where he and Bonnie formed lifelong friendships and reared their boys.
From neighborhood cookouts, pranks, fireworks, and watching Carolina games, Tom was always the life of the party. Tom’s favorite place was Salter Path, N.C.
He and Bonnie were the first to camp at Squatters’ Campground in 1966, and they were last to leave the park in 2006. He loved to fish and passed that on to his sons and grandchildren. Tom’s love for his family and his sense of humor will be missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at Pineview Cemetery on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11am with Rev. Brandon Deese and Jeff White officiating.
