Tammy Urbahns Yarborough, 63, of Roanoke Rapids passed away January 4, 2026, at ECU Edgecombe Hospital.
She was born in Halifax County June 22, 1962, to Betsy Story Urbahns and the late William “Bill” Urbahns. She is also preceded in death by her brothers William “Peter” Story, Jennings “Kelly” Story, Wallace Keith Story, and Jimmy Ray Story; and her sister Lorene Violet Allen.
Tammy was very active in the Roanoke Rapids Church of God running the media for the services. She was a dedicated volunteer before becoming an employee for NCWORKS.

She loved animals and all things about nature. Tammy loved her family, her co-workers, and church, but most of all she loved her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Tammy is survived by her mother Betsy Urbahns; her son Chris Bradley, whom she dearly loved; her furbabies Gizmo and Sushi; a special niece Mary Gordan and special friend Linda Smith.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00AM at the Roanoke Rapids Church of God with the Rev. Richard Gibson officiating.
