John William Ruymen, 71, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. 

Mr. Ruymen was born on February 27, 1955 in West Islip, NY, the son of the late Florance and John Ruymen.

Surviving include his wife of 46 years Mary Copeland Ruymen, his nieces Tracy Boseman (Jeff) and Stacey Ezell, his nephew David E. Madron, his sister in laws Barbara Boseman and Janet Madron, his good friends Rany Floyd (Benjamin) and Susan Moore (Steve), other family out of state, and his two cats Charlie and Otis.
