John Adam King, 54, of Roanoke Rapids, died October 5, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

He was the owner of Royal Native Glass Etchings and Pottery.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Tila-Jean Elizabeth Burdick King of Roanoke Rapids; daughters, Serenity Phoenix April River King, and Caitriona Mary Wilson, both of Roanoke Rapids; sisters, Corliss King Carter and Harriet King, both of Eden; nephew, David King of Stoneville; and a niece, Katrina Clark of Gibsonville.

The memorial service for Mr. King will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Fresh Fire Assembly of God, with Pastor Chris Howerton presiding.  

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Wednesday at Fresh Fire Assembly of God Church.

Arrangements are under the care of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
