Ann Pepper Tidwell, 94, of Roanoke Rapids, died November 1, 2018, at Liberty Commons in Weldon, NC.
Ann was a very strong person who overcame cancer 5 times.
She was very loving and caring person.
As a 50+ year member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Ann served as a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, and was very devoted to her church community.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Collier; husband, Reginald B. Pepper; sister, Doris Flemming; son, Larry Wayne Pepper; great-grandchildren, Chase Powell and Sidney Rook.
She is survived by her sons, David Pepper and wife Faye, Bobby Lee Pepper, and daughter, Brenda Pepper Powell and husband, Wayne, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Tidwell will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4th, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
The family wishes to express many thanks to the staff at Liberty Commons for their exceptional care of Ann while she was in residence.
