Joanne Carver Barnett, entered Eternal Life on December 20, 2020 from The Greens Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pinehurst, NC.

She was loved and cherished by all who knew her, she gave of herself tirelessly to others always.

She was a shining light unto the world, there will never be another like her.  She was a positive example to all who knew her.  She will be missed endlessly, but will be one of the brightest stars in the sky.

She was predeceased by her beloved son Michael Anthony Barnett, husband William Cecil Barnett, Sr., son William Cecil Barnett, Jr., mother, dad, and brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Zoe Luck Hough and husband Woody Hough of Pinehurst; granddaughter Heather Elizabeth Berry and her husband Roscoe of Cary; grandsons Joshua Allen McBeth of Raleigh, Joel Carver McBeth and his wife Melanie of Charlotte, and Ross Barnett of Raleigh.  Daughters in law Anne Swanton Barnett of Cary and Shanda Barnett of Willow Springs. And great grandson Guy Carver McBeth of Charlotte.

Due to COVID a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
