Brenda Olis Wells, 64, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Brenda was born March 15, 1957 in Halifax County to the late Charles Wells and Ruby Isles Wells. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubert H. Isles and Pattie Hawkins and Willis Wells and Erma Hardee Wells.

Brenda was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.

Brenda is survived by her aunts, Nancy Driver of Elm City and Judy Ellis of Roanoke Rapids; her uncle Wayne Wells of Shallotte; Brenda has many special cousins; Brenda is also survived by many special first cousins, H.L. and Barbara Liles of Zebulon, Barbara Ann and Henry Green of Roanoke Rapids, Rose Marie and C.D., Jr. of Littleton, Ava Etheridge of Youngsville, Linda and Douglas Pittard and Virginia Sue King of Littleton; friends, Robert and Patricia Clark, Sue and Charles Turner, Sam and Linda Clark and Johnny and Debbie Clark all of Roanoke Rapids. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2021 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at the home.
