Tony Ray Green, 61, passed away Friday, June17, 2022, after being involved in a traffic accident.
Tony was born December 8, 1960, at Watts Hospital in Durham, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman Dee Green and Joyce Aycock Page both of Durham, three brothers, Timothy Dee Green of Benson, Kenneth James Green of Durham and Claiborne Morris Page of Durham.
Tony is survived by his two sons, Anthony Scott Green (Danielle) of Roanoke Rapids and Michael Dee Green (Jennifer) of Greenville; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nicole Green and Brady Scott Green of Roanoke Rapids and Gracyn Fayth Green and Corey Michael Green of Greenville; his sisters, April Dawn Cates (Rodney) of Creedmoor and Ann Jackson-Bowden (Tom) of Timberlake; his sister-in-law Norma Green (Tim) of Benson; his maternal aunt, Lois Rogers of Roanoke Rapids; his sisters-in-law, Norma Green of Benson and Robin Page of Durham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the Green home, 214 Washington Street, Roanoke Rapids.
