Donald Ray Haskins, 87, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in ECU Health North Hospital.
Mr. Haskins was born on July 19, 1935, in Halifax County, the son of the late Lila Mae Keeter and Orvid James Haskins.
He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Anne Everett Haskins.
Surviving include his daughter LaDorne Bradley (Ricky) of Halifax; his sons, Jonathan “Mitch” Haskins (Vivian) of Winterville and Donald Kirk Haskins (Nghi) of Newport News, VA; his sisters: Brenda Jarman Warren of Pinehurst, Rochella Hux, of Roanoke Rapids, and Connie Spence of Roanoke Rapids; his brother Gene Haskins of Roanoke Rapids; his granddaughter Tonya Hasty (Chuck) and his great granddaughter Macie Hasty.

Mr. Haskins was a member of Victory Baptist Church, and he served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps before his retirement.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Cedarwood Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Hockaday Funeral Home.
