Kay LeNeave Myrick, 79, of Raleigh and Littleton, NC, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Kay was born in 1944 to the late Dessie Ida Thomas and George R. LeNeave, in Henderson, NC. 

She was the widow of the late Clyde Carlton Myrick. 

Kay was admired, accomplished, and a pioneer for women in her professional life.  

She enjoyed the respect and companionship of her community as well. Above all, Kay identified as a daughter, a wife, and a mother to all.   

Kay is survived by her brother George Robert "Robbie" LeNeave, son Gordon Leslie Stephenson and wife Sandra, son John Carlton Myrick and wife Lori, daughter Susan Myrick Campbell and husband Jim, son Jason “Jay” Clyde Myrick and wife Mary. Surviving grandchildren are Charles Stephenson, Austin Stephenson, Ethan Stephenson, Emily Goldsmith and husband Cody, Jack Myrick and fiancée Sarah Spersrud, Julie Hadzor and husband Bobby, Meredith Davison and husband Camon, James Campbell III and wife Makenzie, Haley Day and husband Wilson, and Hunter Willette and husband Dylan. Great grandchildren are Myrick Hadzor, Laurel Hadzor, Madelyn Davison, Ella Day, Waylon Dressler, Millie Willette, and Noah Willette.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Church, 136 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC, followed by a graveside service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the graveside service.
