Cynthia Marie Massey Bridgers, 60, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at her home.
She was born February 7, 1963, in Halifax County to Eugene McCoy Massey Sr. and the late Shelby Wheeler Massey.
She is preceded in death by her brother Eugene Massey, Jr.; her sister Carla Jones; and her special friend Russ Crotts.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters Shannon Williams and husband Troy and Jennifer Massey both of Roanoke Rapids; her son Jack Bryant and girlfriend Krystal Dudley of Roanoke Rapids; her sisters Barbara Jones of Roanoke Rapids and Joanne Gilpin and husband Mark of Tennessee; grandchildren Logan Williams, Devin Williams, McKenzie Hendricks, and Baylee Carroll; great grandchildren Legend Taylor, Everleigh Williams, and Chandler Williams; two special nieces Ashelee Hester and Tammy DeBerry along with numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service Thursday evening, January 25, 2024, from 5:00PM – 6:30PM with the Funeral Service following at 6:30PM at Hockaday Chapel with Pastor Chris Howerton officiating.
