Mary Ellen Riggan, 80, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard L. Brown and Mary C. Brown, brothers, Ronnie Brown, Gene Brown and Larry Brown and sister, Bonnie Casey. 

Mary is survived by her daughters, Lisa Strickland, Tammy Felts and Cindy Roberts, grandchildren, Scott Patteson, Kayla Barnes, Donald Strickland, Stephanie Hardison, Jade Cruz, Elaina Felts, Davis Felts and Abigail Felts, great grandchildren, Kelsey Musick, Kaylin Barnes, Kassie Barnes, Kaisley Barnes, Aubrey Cruz, Brayden Cruz, Chloe Ruble, Clayton Hardison and Björn Robinson, brother, Cecil Brown, sister, Linda Skinner and brother, Louis Brown, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. 

She enjoyed going to the park and walking. She loved spending time with her family and watching basketball and baseball. 

Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. 

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Wrenn Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Wrenn Funeral Home starting at 2:00pm with Pastor Rick Jordan officiating. 

Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
