I am writing to express concern over the city council’s recent decision to allocate municipal tax dollars to the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District.
Medicaid expansion in North Carolina has been a major advance for rural healthcare providers. In Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties, Medicaid expansion helped more than 18,000 patients get access to affordable healthcare coverage.
As we step into another exciting week in our Roanoke Rapids Graded School District, I am reminded once again of the energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit that make our schools such special places.
