Disney’s 101 Dalmatians (Kids): A presentation of the Lakeland Young People’s Summer Theatre Workshop, The Farrington Foundation, The Electric Cooperatives of NC and Halifax Electric Membership Corporation.
In a loving home in the city of London, Dalmatian parents, Pongo and Perdita happily raise their Dalmatian puppies, until the monstrous Cruella De Vil plots to steal them for her new fur coat.
Join all the dogs of London, as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen. W
ith a delightfully fun score, lovable characters, and one of the most deliciously evil villains in the Disney canon, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
This production is being presented by the fantastic group of young people.
The Cast, Crew and Production Team are all 21 years old or younger.
This production is directed by Cristina Guttersen, age 17, who most recently wrote and directed Halloween with Scooby and the Gang.
She is joined by musical director and choreographer, Daniel Dunlow, age 18, seen onstage this year in Charley’s Aunt in addition he performed in and directed All Shook Up.
The production team is completed by technical director, Daniel Gardner, age 19.
Daniel is on loan to us from the University of NC, Greensboro – Theatre Program and is no stranger to the Lakeland stage.
As young as these three are, they have 25 years of stage experience between them.
The energy and talent supplied by this cast is a sight to see.
