A walk-off single led Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings past Rocky Mount Academy 4-3 on Tuesday.

The game was tied at three with Halifax Academy Lady Vikings batting in the bottom of the seventh when Ashlyn Cooke singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Berkley Garner pitched Halifax Academy to victory. Garner lasted three innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Berkeley Miller took the loss for Rocky Mount Academy. The pitcher went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out seven.Cooke started the game for Halifax Academy. The bulldog went four innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out eight .

Morgan Hudomint led Halifax Academy with two hits in four at bats. Gabbi Ams went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Rocky Mount Academy in hits.
