Roanoke Rapids Kalissa Williams was bad news for opposing pitchers on Friday, driving in six on three hits to lead the Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets past the Bunn Wildcats 8-3 on Friday.

Williams drove in runs on a home run in the first, a home run in the fifth, and a double in the sixth.

Roanoke Rapids got on the board in the first inning when Williams homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.

Williams pitched the Lady Yellow Jackets to victory. The fireballer lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and three runs while striking out eight and walking zero.

Roanoke Rapids smacked two home run on the day. Williams had a dinger in the first and fifth innings.

Roanoke Rapids had eight hits in the game. Williams and Karlee Hammack each racked up multiple hits for the Lady Yellow Jackets. Williams led Roanoke Rapids with three hits in three at bats.

Bunn saw the ball well, racking up nine hits in the game.

The Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets remain undefeated with a 9-0 overall and sits in first place with a 6-0 in The Big East 2A/3A conference.

The Lady Jackets travel to Nash Central Tuesday March 29th with a 6:30pm game time.
