Weldon Police Department
The Weldon Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at Family Dollar on East Second Street shortly before 6:45 this evening.

Lieutenant Chris Davis said the suspect entered the store and brandished handgun. He demanded money and left the store with an undisclosed amount.
