PD seeks assistance in card fraud; beer theft

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is seeking the public’s help in two cases.

The first involves fraud associated with a stolen card, Lieutenant Charles Vaught said.

The fraud in Roanoke Rapids occurred at the ATM at State Employee’s Credit Union on August 20.

Cash was also withdrawn from an ATM in Goldsboro.

The second case involves the theft of more than $100 worth of beer from Walmart on September 9 around 10:30 a.m,, Vaught said.
