A Littleton area man was arrested today for opium trafficking as well as cocaine possession.

The arrest of Javarries Lamar Harvey came after agents of the City County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3000 block of Roper Springs Road. Crack cocaine and 34 Oxycodone pills were seized, Captain A.M. Harris said in statement.

Harris said this evening the task force has been getting complaints on Harvey, 35, for several and Agent D.R. Radford has been investigating the complaints the agency has received.

Harvey was arrested and charged with felony possession of cocaine and trafficking opium. He received a $10,000 bond and April 18 court date.

Meanwhile, as agents searched the residence, a vehicle came on the property, which reportedly had the strong odor of marijuana coming from the inside and coming from the person who exited and locked the vehicle.

Radford applied for a search warrant of the vehicle and later seized a user amount of marijuana.

The task force obtained warrants for the arrest of Jamale Bowman, 23, for possession of marijuana less than one-half ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Following the 11 a.m. search warrant on Roper Springs Road, agents went to the 200 block of South Square Drive in the Littleton area to follow up on the Harvey investigation.

No items were seized from that residence and Harris said investigation continues.
