After discussing proposed changes to the leaf collection ordinance — whether to bag them or leave them piled open on the shoulder of streets — the board went into closed session to discuss a contract matter.
The board took no action on the contract matter after coming out of closed session. Another special meeting is set for October 21 at 1 p.m.
The leaf matter will be discussed further at the board's upcoming meeting next Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Several business owners attended this afternoon's hoping to learn more about the proposal.
