Phillip Tyrone Putney, 27, and Tyrone Tashun Conyers Jr., 19, were both arrested for breaking and entering a motor vehicle and two counts each of larceny of a firearm and possession of stolen firearms. Putney was arrested with assistance from Deputy D. Radford in a separate crime.
Joshua Jonathan Jackson, 25 of Roanoke Rapids, who has still not been taken into custody, is also charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, two counts larceny of a firearm, possession of stolen firearms and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to a statement from Detective Harold Phillips.
Jackson is believed to still be in the area.
All the Firearms were recovered and returned to the victim.
This incident occurred in the Roanoke Rapids area on November 20.
Putney, who was also charged in a separate larceny in the Littleton area, has a $15,000 secured bond and Conyers a $5,000.00 secured bond.
Their first court date is February 12.
