Incumbents candidates in Halifax County won in Tuesday’s primary election.
Four incumbents announced in statements today they have filed for re-election in the upcoming May 8 primary.
Vernon Bryant will remain chairman and Rives Manning vice chairman of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners.
Halifax County Commissioner Rives Manning registered as a Democrat in June of 1961.
Vernon Bryant will lead the Halifax County Board of Commissioners as its chair while Rives Manning will be the vice chair.
