Let me begin by thanking all of the individuals that supported me for this public office of County Commissioner.

I wish to address the new proposed hunting regulations for Halifax County.
In the Southern Christian Leadership Conference article regarding the proposed supplemental school tax on the ballot in November, at the request of the Halifax County School Board, the board of commissioners approved to place it on the ballot — which by law the commissioners are required to do.
We would like to address some of the issues from Friday's Tracy Lawrence concert as well as clear up some of the rumors and hearsay floating around.
On Monday, March 9, 2015, the Town of Halifax saw one of the largest accidents in our long history occur, as an Amtrak Carolinian Passenger Train, with over 200 people on board, collided with a transfer truck at the NC 903/125 and Hwy 301 crossing in Halifax.
Yesterday morning when I woke up and saw the beautiful snow on the ground I decided to take a walk on one of my favorite places of natural beauty, the Roanoke Canal Trail.
