Halifax County is now accepting applications for the 2022 funding cycle of the Recreation Partners Program. 

The Halifax County Commissioners have approved a maximum of $50,000 to be awarded in grant funds for recreation programs throughout the county. 

Organizations promoting programs to increase recreation throughout the county are invited to submit an application for funding.

Applications are available from the Halifax County Manager’s Office by calling (252) 583-1131 ext. 2254, via download at this link, or by email request to Christina Wells, assistant county manager, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022.
