A Roanoke Rapids man will be charged with first-degree burglary following a breaking and entering this morning where the homeowner shot him.
The third annual Arts on the Avenue was held this evening between the 900 and 1100 blocks of Roanoke Avenue.
A breaking and entering suspect who has been the target of an all-day search is in custody.
The Weldon Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in a hit and run which occurred May 12 shortly after 11 p.m.
