Betty Allen Price, 91, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Zeb Daniel Allen and Nannie Temple Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Thomas Price, her brother, Michael Wilson Allen and her son-in-law, Michael Smith.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She also loved going to yard sales.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam P. Smith; her son, Danny Price and his wife, Renee, both of Roanoke Rapids; her sister, Gayle Blackmon of Four Oaks; her brother, Billy Dan Allen and his wife, Sue of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Amy Hilliard, Julie Aston and her husband, Andy, Rachel Price, Kristen Hoscila and her husband, A.J. and Matthew Price; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Hilliard, Conner Hilliard, Nathan Aston and Ava Aston.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Andy Sloan officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
