Curtis Roosevelt Hathaway, Sr. 79, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Halifax Regional Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1932 to Jesse Lee and Annie James Hathaway. He worked most of his adult life as a foreman in the lumber industry.
Hazel Hux Dickens was born in Halifax County on May 1, 1930 to the late Sterling A. Hux and Clara Warren Hux. She was the wife of the late William E. Dickens for 52 years. She was a member of Smith United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
