Lindsay Brianne Barmer, 38, of Halifax, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021.

She was born Nov. 9, 1982, in Roanoke Rapids, to Dawn Barmer and the late Robert Barmer.

She loved people and her American Pit Bull, Peanut. Once you became her friend, she was always your friend. She loved her family and her Lord.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Barmer, Doris and Jim Stockton and A.D. Howard.

She is survived by her mother, Dawn Barmer of Halifax; her sisters, Stacie Chichester (Gilbert) of Jarvisburg and Rana Fleming of Gaston; aunts, Carmen Griffin (Rick) and Karen Wheatly (Britt); and her uncle, Jimmy Stockton (Sandy); and several cousins. Lindsay is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins on her father’s side of the family.

Lindsay, you were and are loved deeply and will be forever missed until we meet again.

The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church on Highway 125 in Halifax, with the Rev. Rex Evans, pastor, officiating.

Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements, where online condolences may be made at hockadayfs.com
