Kathy Sanders Watson age 63 of Halifax was called to her eternal rest on October 7th 2021. 

Kathy was born on September 5th, 1958, to the late Roland and Margaret Sanders of Weldon NC.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Sanders and Traci Sanders. 

Kathy also known as “CatRoll” was born and raised in Weldon NC. She had an immense love for her family. They were her pride and joy. 

Throughout her life she enjoyed being in church, singing in the choir and any family function. She had a lifelong affair with Route 44 drinks from Sonic and loved to ride no matter the destination. 

The sound of her grandson Jacob as he called her “face” would perk her up immediately even in her final days. Her sense of humor was contagious, and she never let you leave without a hug and a “I love you.”

Left to keep her memory alive is her daughter, Jenny and husband John Hand; grandson, Jacob Hand; brothers, Ricky Sanders (Debbie) of Roanoke Rapids and Lacy Sanders of Pittsboro; sisters, Helen Neal of Roanoke Rapids and Elizabeth Turner of Emporia VA; Numerous nieces and nephews and friends. 

The family would like to invite you to attend memorial services on Monday October 11th 2021, at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy King officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service, and other times at the home of daughter, Jenny Hand.
