Angela “Angel” Corriher Myers Moore, 64, died February 15, 2022 in her Roanoke Rapids home.

Angel was born in Forsyth County on December 8, 1957, the daughter of Lonnie James Myers and Rachel Maxine Long Myers.

Angel was known by many for her artistic flair and positive energy. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a free-spirit who always found her way back to the sea where she was most at peace, so that will be her final resting place.

Angel is survived by her children, Tammy Stephens (Jason Novak), Jamie Loafman (Robert), Kimberly Betts (Dakota), Rachel Dobecka (Matt), Nichole Nicholls, Dominique Moore (Kevin), Chris Binkley (Nadaley), Brandon Hollar, Michael Nicholls, Bryson Corriher (Erika), Dakota Moore; three step-children; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a sister, Annette Kane; and sister-in-law, Patty Myers.

Those that went before her that Angel joined in heaven include her parents; husband, Milton Lee Moore; daughter, Crystal Binkley; a brother, sister, grandchild, and a stepchild.

Angel’s wishes were to be cremated and to privately have her remains scattered in the ocean, a place that she dearly loved.
