Joseph "Jo Jo" Grayson Fahey, 12, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Jo Jo was born July 26, 2009, in Halifax County to Mikey Fahey, and Candace Reeves. Jo Jo was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmothers, Ann Harrison Delbridge and Mable Reeves; his maternal great grandfather, Cecil Reeves, Sr., his paternal great grandmothers, Patsy Lassiter and Julia Fahey.

Jo Jo was loving, caring and generous, always had a smile and everybody loved him.

Jo Jo is survived by his parents, Mikey Fahey, and Candace Reeves; his maternal grandparents, Karen Reeves and Chuck Norwood, and C.D. Reeves; his paternal grandparents, Mike Fahey and Angela Fahey; his maternal great grandparents, Billy Delbridge and Kathy Lee; his paternal great grandparents, Lawrence Fahey and Grant Lassiter; his brothers, Michael Fahey, Jr. and Mason Fahey; his sisters, Natalie Fahey and Reagan Harris;  his uncle, Brandon Reeves; his great uncles, Todd Delbridge and Kevin Delbridge; his aunts, Kristen Reeves and Jessica Balmer; his cousins, Andrew Mayton, Kaitlyn Mayton, Emma Reeves, Julia Balmer, Kaiden Balmer, Emma Balmer and Jason Balmer; his special friends, Mindy King, Adalyn Hudson, Joshua Wallace, Kenzie Dunn and Jerry and Michelle Taylor.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Vidant North Hospital, Vidant Medical Center, Halifax County EMS, and local law enforcement agencies

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at New Testament Christian Church with Daniel West, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of his aunt, Kristen Reeves, 616 Raleigh Drive, Roanoke Rapids.
