Priscilla Dean Shaw Ricks, 64, of Gaston passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in ECU Medical Center in Greenville.
Mrs. Ricks was born on January 16, 1960, the daughter of Margaret Christina Ellis and James Emmitt Shaw, Jr. and was the widow of Linwood Ricks.
She is also preceded in death by her sister Linda Pernell and her brother Bill Shaw. Priscilla was an avid Teddy Bear Collector.
Surviving include her two cats, Max and Sassy, her sisters Kimberly King (David) and Lillian “Re Re” Turner, all of Gaston, her nephew Cory Sean Dickens of Gaston, and many other nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with the Rev. Clinton Boyd officiating.
Entombment will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
