Teresa Michelle “Dixie” Conner, 52, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024.  

Ms. Conner was born in Halifax County on December 10, 1971.  

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Conner and her grandson Tommy Wrenn. 

Surviving include her mother Brenda M. Whitehead (Charles) of Pleasant Hill, NC, her special friend Randy Turner, her sons:  Patrick Heustess, Randall J. Turner, and Robert Turner, all of Roanoke Rapids, her daughters:  Brittney Crawford (Todd Wrenn) and Harley Hall, both of Roanoke Rapids, her brother Raymond Conner (Jenny) of Roanoke Rapids, her sister Tiffany True (Adam) of Skippers, VA, 2 grandchildren:  Carroll Beckelman IV and Hunter Wrenn. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Jimmy King officiating.   

Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
