The Roanoke Rapids Employment Service (ES)/JobLink provides a number of services for employers in the Halifax-Northampton County area.  Some of the available services are:

Recruitment of applicants for all occupations, including professional, technical, sales, clerical, skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled.  Referrals can be made to the employer’s place of business, or ES/JobLink can provide space for conducting interviews.

JobConnector, using computer technology to give employer’s job orders exposure locally, statewide, and nationwide

Technical assistance to employers, including job analysis for employer planning and employee development.  Occupational Analysts can perform surveys to resolve such problems as employee turnover and absenteeism.
