The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room of city hall on Roanoke Avenue.
The budget work session comes after a public hearing on the financial plan for next fiscal year was held Tuesday night. No one spoke during the hearing.
During Tuesday's meeting City Manager Joseph Scherer announced the city plans to scrap curbside recycling for the upcoming fiscal year, and instead plans to give employees a 3 percent cost of living adjustment.
He also said he is proposing to add two new drug officers for the police department in the financial plan.
The budget, as proposed, contains no tax increase. The budget is scheduled for adoption at council's June 17 meeting, which will be at 7 p.m. in the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall.
