Missing Henrico woman found deceased Monday

A Henrico woman reported missing Monday morning was found deceased in a wooded area near her home, the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Few details are immediately forthcoming following the shooting deaths of two people in the Pendleton area Saturday night.

Law enforcement from the Roanoke Valley today met in Jackson for the final call of Auburn Darrell Williams, a longtime captain with the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and civil division deputy with the Northampton County Sheriff's Office.

A Garysburg couple have been charged with delivering drugs to an inmate at the Northampton County Detention Center.

An Ahoskie man was charged in a late night home invasion Thursday in Rich Square.

The Northampton Count Sheriff's Office reported the following, according to Captain Courtney Williams:

Foul play is not suspected in a fire which claimed the life of a 49-year-old Garysburg woman Saturday morning.
