The Halifax County Board of Elections meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed until Tuesday, June 2. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. in the board of commissioners meeting room located in the Historic Courthouse on King Street in Halifax.
The Monday, May 4, 2026 Board of Equalization and Review Meeting and May 4, 2026 Regular Meeting agendas of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Commissioner Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Halifax County Historic Courthouse, located at 10 North King Street, Halifax, North Carolina.
Dr. Georgiana Couden has been named Halifax County Opioid Settlement coordinator, effective Friday.
