Two people have been arrested and one is being sought in an armed robbery that occurred in Enfield Monday.
Thus far none of the incumbents for the Roanoke Rapids City Council for have filed for re-election. Councilman Ed Liverman has stated he will not seek a another term for his District 2 seat.
A Roanoke Rapids man was charged Tuesday in a June breaking and entering in the South Zoo Road area.
The last person wanted in a June 25 home invasion in Enfield, one who reportedly said he had no intention of surrendering, was apprehended Sunday by Rocky Mount police.
