A storm in the heart of where the event is annually held won’t stop Relay For Life next week, its organizer said.
Thus far there has been only one reported storm related scam in Roanoke Rapids, Captain Andy Jackson said this morning.
The Public Works and Planning and Development departments are asking that storm debris be separated for curbside pickup.
They are asking that vegetative debris such as limbs and branches be put in one pile and household items such as siding and shingles be placed in another pile.
