A Seaboard man died this morning following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 158. A passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to First Sergeant Levern Bynum of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

A man who was on federal location monitoring through February 7 was charged with cocaine possession on Friday, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
