The Weldon Police Department is investigating a vehicle which had been shot into on Country Club Road near College Drive.
In addition to the protest filed by state Representative Michael Wray, three other candidates in Halifax County filed them as well.
The Michael H. Wray for State House Committee filed protests in all three of the District 27 counties which urged each of the boards of election to take a closer look at several ballots that were rejected.
“It’s a mess.”
A woman who was reported missing Tuesday has been located, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
