As of 5 p.m., a missing mother and her child have been located and are safe, Roanoke Rapids Police Chief Lawrence Wiggins said.
Paris Denice'ya Hines and her 2-year-old daughter, Zenobia Hines, were officially reported missing today after not being seen or heard from in three weeks.
No additional action will be taken by the RRPD concerning the matter, Wiggins said.
