District Court Judge Turner Stephenson administered the oath of office to some familiar faces Tuesday night at the Roanoke Rapids Board of Trustees meeting.
Tom Davis will serve as interim principal of Roanoke Rapids High School for the remainder of this school year. He is currently the school system’s executive director of student, family, and staff services.
The dirt will turn Friday as Northampton County and state officials put shovels in the ground to celebrate the upcoming construction of a new courthouse.
Halifax County Commissioner J. Rives Manning Jr. will file to retain his seat on the board for the 2022-2026 term.
