The Roanoke Rapids Police Department said this morning use of force was justified last week in taking a man into custody who has been charged with disobeying the commands of an officer directing traffic at a crash scene.
Roanoke Rapids City Council Monday night agreed by consensus to move forward with its budget for the upcoming fiscal year and to hold a public hearing on the matter at its June 16 meeting at Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall.
