The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is attempting to locate and Identify two suspects involved in the theft of a vehicle which occurred on April 24 at approximately 9 p.m.
The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to interim Chief Bobby Martin:
A Roanoke Rapids native was among six University of North Carolina employees to receive the 2019 C. Knox Massey Distinguished Service Award for their “unusual, meritorious or superior contributions.”
Roanoke Rapids police lauded the work of the Eastern District United States Attorney’s Office for their work on a case which led to a guilty verdict Tuesday in federal court for Dannie Simon Parker Jr. in the 2017 robbery of PNC Bank off Julian R. Allsbrook Highway.
